Day 1: Arrival in Lapland
Your adventure begins as soon as you land at Kittilä Airport. Here you will be warmly welcomed by your personal host who will immediately give you the feeling that you are in good hands. After receiving warm, winter-resistant clothing, you will be taken to your exclusive accommodation by luxury transfer. Here a beautifully decorated villa awaits you, with cozy fireplaces and impressive views of the snowy landscape. A delicious welcome dinner, prepared by your private chef, awaits you while you relax and prepare for the exciting days ahead.
Day 2: Snowmobile Adventure and Surprise Visit
The first full day in Lapland starts with an extensive breakfast carefully prepared by your private chef. Next on the agenda is an exciting snowmobile expedition through the pristine wilderness of Lapland. For the children there is a special mini-skidoo course where they can safely enjoy their own ride. After a delicious lunch in a traditional Lappish hut, a surprise awaits: a visit from a real elf who helps the children with gingerbread decorations and making snow lanterns. The day ends with a delicious dinner, provided by your chef.
A snowmobile ride is a highlight of any Arctic adventure and should not be missed. After a brief introduction to snowmobile safety and operation, it's time to take off on our state-of-the-art snowmobiles for your tailor-made wilderness excursion. Through forests and over snow-covered hills you drive deep into the wilderness where few people have been. You'll get the chance to race across a frozen lake and experience the speed, freedom and adrenaline that is only possible when these exhilarating machines race across the snow. While a driver's license is required to drive a snowmobile, those without a license can enjoy a sled ride. Adults can also share a snowmobile with the driver as you drive through the beautiful snowy landscape.
A gentle knock on the door will draw your attention to a visit from a real elf, who has plenty of ideas for snow activities or gingerbread baking. While the children play with the elf, the parents can relax and enjoy a glass of hot mulled wine or house wine.
Day 3: Reindeer Safari and Search for Santa Claus
After a hearty breakfast, the day starts with a visit to a local reindeer farm. Reindeer have been the most significant and typical animals of Lapland for centuries. During your visit to the reindeer home, you will learn the traditions of reindeer herding and enjoy a relaxing reindeer sleigh ride. Upon arrival, a reindeer will be ready to take you on the sleigh. Wrapped warm and comfortable in the sled, you start a journey through the forest. The reindeer will pull you through the forest and introduce you to the life of a reindeer, until you arrive at a Lappish kota where the reindeer herder awaits you with lunch and many stories. While you enjoy a hot drink by an open fire, you will hear fascinating stories about life in Lapland that revolves around the reindeer.
In the afternoon you will go on a magical search for Santa Claus in his secret hut. You wake up to a new snow-white morning. After breakfast, your driver will knock on the door, ready to take you to experience a real Christmas story as you search for Santa Claus and the path to his secret hut. Your driver will drive through the remote wilderness until you arrive in Santa's magical forest. As you get out, you'll see a red hat peeping behind a tree. When you get closer, you will see that it is a real elf who will guide you to find the secret path to Santa's hut. Let your children discover who keeps warm in the hut, maybe you will be invited to the story of your life? Is it Santa Claus himself, waiting with the presents?
Day 4: Visit to SnowVillage and Snowshoe Hike
Start the day with a delicious breakfast, followed by a visit to the enchanting Snow Village, a beautiful complex of snow and ice. Every year, approximately 20 million kilos of snow and 350,000 kilos of crystal clear natural ice are used to build the spectacular Snow Village, which changes shape, size and design every year to amaze visitors again and again. The Snow Village covers an area of approximately 20,000 square meters and consists of a Snow Hotel with snow rooms and suites, an Ice Restaurant, an Ice Chapel and an Ice Bar.
Day 5: Husky Sled Adventure and Christmas Dinner
After a delicious breakfast, an exciting husky sled ride awaits you. After meeting the enthusiastic dogs, you will have the opportunity to lead a team through the glittering snow. At the husky farm you meet the dogs, their enthusiastic barking fills the air. You will be provided with all the necessary equipment and learn how to lead a team of dogs. As you slide through the snow and venture into the wilderness, the barking of the dogs quiets down and you only hear the sound of the sled on the snow and the paw prints. Standing on the runners, by shifting your weight, the dogs steer, and you are completely in the moment. The white and magical landscape glides by as the dogs pick up speed.
Afterwards you will have time to cuddle the dogs and enjoy hot drinks by a campfire in a cozy Lappish 'kota'. As you drive back to your villa, the sun sets and the sky turns gold, but this day will live on forever. Enjoy a hot lunch in a Lappish hut and spend the afternoon relaxing. The day ends with a festive Christmas dinner in your villa.
Day 6: Alpine Skiing and Village Walk
Start your day with a delicious breakfast and prepare for a day full of winter sports fun in Levi, Finland's largest ski area. Whether you choose cross-country skiing or alpine skiing, there is something for everyone. After lunch at the villa, take a walk through the village with your guide and enjoy the pure air and beautiful views. End the day with a relaxing sauna and dinner provided by your chef.
Day 7: Breakfast and Departure
Your last day in Lapland starts with a relaxing breakfast. Then it's time to check out and you will be taken by private transfer to Kittilä Airport for your return journey. After a week full of unforgettable memories, you will return home satisfied.
